Ringing Bells Freedom 251 Dream Come True

Company’s Director Mohit Goel said to IANS, we have prepared the letter requesting a meeting with our Prime Minister to pitch our case as domestic smartphone maker which wishes to contribute towards ‘Make in India’ initiative. We plan to organize a launch event in the capital on 7 July 2016, a day after starting the delivery.

In the interview, Mohit Goel announced July 6, 2016, the date for delivery, he did with the first phase of delivery two lakh handsets. He will open registration again for those who wish to buy this phone. The company plans to deliver 2 lakh phone before July-6-2016. They received seven crore registrations. Mohit  Goel said we learned from our mistakes and decided to go silent till we come out with a product.

Mohit Goel said Ringing Bells had come under the scanner of police, telecom ministry, Enforcement Directorate and Income Tax department on charges of fraud,  he said his company would be the loss of Rs 180 on every phone that would be shipped at a price of Rs 251.

We have the 4-inch display, dual-SIM phone and the phones is  ready for delivery. Mohit  Goel said, “We will have a loss, but I am happy that dream of connecting rural and poor Indians as part of  ‘Digital India’ and ‘Make in India’ initiatives has fulfilled with Freedom 251”. Goel said that Ringing Bells has a foolproof plan to support the price but did not disclose it.

Phone available only in two colors that is black & white. The company has incorporated all basic Google apps in the phone. Mohit Goel said to IANS “Our devices are completely ‘Make in India’ and were manufactured at our Haridwar-based manufacturing unit. We plan to sell 2 lakh phones every month,” he said. The company also plan to launch 32-inch high-definition LED television also called Freedom in the first week of July 2016.

They will be the cheapest television set in India and they will be available for less than Rs.10,000. Within two days, the delivery would be made and we will sell them online,” Mohit Goel said, a company currently has 1 lakh pieces in stock. Ringing Bells Freedom 251 features this phone come with 1.3 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB RAM, 3.2-megapixel camera and 1450 mAh battery, dual-SIM, and this phone is the 3G phone.
